Family Literacy Day 2011 Schedule
The countdown to Family Literacy Day is on. Thursday January 27th, 2011 is Family Literacy Day. This year's theme is PLAY! Come out and have some fun and be entered in a draw to win a Nintendo Wii.
SCHEDULE: Events take place downtown between 1:30 - 4:30 on Jan.27th, 2011
Vancouver Island Regional Library: Wii games, board games, a "fish pond" for free books and a word scramble contest with a draw for a prize.
Vancouver Island Regional Library: Learn how to juggle!
Vancouver Island Regional Library: Donate your eyeglasses for literacy.
Library Courtyard: Visit the tent outside the library for free hot chocolate.
Community Hall: The Play-room! Surprise guests and take-home gifts.
Tidemark Theatre: You're a Superstar! Imagination activities on the Tidemark Stage.
Tidemark Theatre Lobby: Activities and book give-away with Campbell River Community Literacy Assocation.
Spirit Square: Honda Donation Vehicle - donate your gently used or new books.
Coho Books: Mad-Libs and sticker stories.
Stillwater Books: Surprise activity.
Wise and Wonderful: Game Tables! Come and try their award winning games.
Wandering Jester: Find the fun before she finds you!
