Our Present
With our planning successfully completed, the literacy task group applied funding to help with the implementation of the literacy plan. We begin implementing the plan based on expertise, community in-kind services at hand while we wait to hear word about funding.

These literacy assets charts illustrate the number of programs that support participants in various capacities with literacy as on part of the program / organization's goal. In the Literacy Assets Bar Chart, the vertical values represent the number of programs while the age increments are displayed horizontally.
These charts do not provide a representation of programs that are available but it does not reflect the feelings and thoughts of participants and facilitators. After reviewing this data the task group agreed that the information did not provide enough information to create an action plan. As a result we commissioned a video project that interviewed community members, it included the thoughts and feelings of the community as well as the information needed to set the goals for our community plan.
